Otakon was a bit of a let-down. Not so much because of the convention itself, but more because a lot of things happened that I really wish wouldn't have. Between arguing with con-mates, me losing a $40 Kirby Lamp, me losing my phone TWICE, and spending way more time in the hotel than I would have liked, it was a fairly miserable weekend compared to how I wanted it to be. But it had it's positives. I got some really awesome pictures taken, flaunted my finished, and fantastic, cosplays, and met some really cool new friends (one of which is a godsend that found my lamp!). Overall, it could have been much better. But hey, it could have been worse

Well, after discussing with my fellow cosplayers, I am saddened to say that Clayface simply isn't shaping up the way I wanted it to. Which, given the little time I have, I can't think of a proper solution for all the problems with it. That being said, no Clayface for now. I have to cosplay a Batman Rogue though? But who? Maybe I'll just flip a coin.

And I'm not ready! Well, I've got most of my Clayface cosplay done. Just have to finish painting and doing the feet and he's all finished. Which is actually not much more than a day or two's effort. If I had to put a number on it, I'd say he's 80% done. As for Tomoe, I haven't started on him, but the last piece of material is coming sometime this week in the mail, and he should be relatively easy to do once I get all the material in-hand. As for Winter Soldier, I'm postponing him because I simply have too much on my plate in and outside of cosplay. Just a brief update, everyone! Hopefully Clayface pics will be coming fairly soon!
